Terms of Service
Last updated: October 4th, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Ironclad mobile application (the "App"), operated by Ironclad ("we", "us"). By downloading, accessing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Ironclad. By using the App, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you confirm you have permission from a parent or guardian to use the App.
2. Your account
You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. The service
Ironclad calculates a daily score based on information you choose to log — your productive hours, health goals, habits, and obligations. The score, ranks, and any leaderboard standing are self-reported and for personal motivation and entertainment purposes; they are not a certification of fact and should not be relied on for any purpose beyond that.
We may add, change or remove features at any time, and may suspend or discontinue the App (in whole or in part) with reasonable notice where practical.
4. Subscriptions (Ironclad Pro)
Ironclad offers an optional paid subscription, Ironclad Pro, which unlocks full history, trends and additional analytics. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, at the following prices (subject to change with notice):
- Monthly: $2.99 USD, billed every month;
- Yearly: $12.99 USD, billed every year;
- Lifetime: $39.99 USD, a one-time purchase.
Auto-renewal. Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the price then in effect.
Cancellation. You can cancel a subscription at any time through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings — subscriptions cannot be cancelled directly within the App or by contacting us, per each platform's own billing rules. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep Pro access until then.
Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google under their own refund policies, not by us directly.
Free tier. Ironclad remains free to use without a subscription, with a reduced set of analytics features.
5. Your content
You own the content you create in the App — your category names, goal labels, habit and penalty descriptions, and display name. You grant us a limited license to store, process and display that content solely to operate the App for you (and, where you enable it, to the friends or leaderboard audiences described in our Privacy Policy).
You're responsible for what you write. Don't use display names, avatars, or other content that impersonates someone else, is unlawful, or violates our Community Guidelines.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse-engineer or tamper with the App; interfere with its normal operation or other users' use of it; use it to harass, abuse or harm another person; or misuse the leaderboard or friend system to impersonate or deceive others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
7. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time (see Account and Data Deletion). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, with notice where reasonably practical.
8. Disclaimers
The App is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any score, rank or calculation will be free of defects. Ironclad is a personal productivity and habit-tracking tool, not medical, financial or professional advice of any kind.
Nothing in this section excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Where the Australian Consumer Law implies a guarantee (such as due care and skill in supplying the App) that can't be excluded, but can be limited, our liability for breaching it is limited, at our option, to supplying the App again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
9. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, and subject to Section 8's consumer-guarantee carve-out, Ironclad and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you through the App or by email before they take effect. Continuing to use the App after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia. If you are a consumer resident in another country, mandatory consumer-protection laws of that country may still apply to you and take precedence over this clause.
